I'm loving this bike. I'm a 5'10" female with broad shoulders. Regrettably, I currently weight 212. I can fit the bike to myself perfectly. I love the seat and seat post. (I did get a tire pump) It feels much more secure than the seat on Giant "halfway" folding bike. Today, I did a test to see if I could do a run to my CSA and back. 19.2km or 12miles. There is 190ft climb on the return. The bike died at 15 km (9.4 miles)on a fairly steep, sustained up hill. The thing I don't like is the visibility of the display. I was using all the levels but it was difficult to know which I was in on a sunny day. I had charged the bike to 5 bars before the ride. I'm going to try to charging for a full 4 hours. I will try the trip avoiding level 3 assist tomorrow. I'd love it if this bike had a 25% warning. It just cut off at I think had been 2 bars just moments before. If I had known I would have walked the hill and hopefully been able to make the rest of the ride with some assist. Also, I blew a circuit while charging. I might look into some kind of one way protection for the electrical.

Thinking of buying but am concerned whether the bike will work in rain. What's the bike's classification for that, how much will it take? Can't find anything about it so guessing it can't take any rain at all?
Otherwise seems great!
D3 Pro is waterproof. They are built to the IP54 water-resistant standard which means you can ride them in the rain. To protect your electric bike and consider your safety, we don't recommend you to ride an electric bike in heavy rain. The max speed of the D3 Pro is 15.5MPH(25km/h), equipped with a throttle.
Hope it helps.
